What happened to the Vincent Canfield (cockbox) versus Michael Hirdes (CCC) case?

- CCC is a famous left-leaning hacker conference in Germany.
- Vincent Canfield is a free speech absolutist who runs a hard-to-censor email and VPS service. He used to host servers in Germany but eventually migrated the servers to Romania and Moldova. As of 2026, he lives in Romania as far as I understand.
- In 2019, he claimed to have been violently assualted by people in CCC, unprovoked. In particular, he accused Michael Hirdes and provided public footage.

- I am assuming Vincent sued these people. I want to know what happened to the lawsuit. This seems an important datapoint for me to understand internet censorship / free speech.
