I could probably shoot everyone I have ever cared about, if I had to

Was reading this reddit thread to understand what are the thresholds at which people break, i.e. make major changes to their worldview or plans.
But, reading this is giving me a completely different realisation. Most of the events people have listed are in some way about losing someone they care about. This could be them dying or them cheating on you in some way (romantic or familial or platonic)
I have probably never in my life genuinely cared about someone enough to actually be broken by their loss.
update - I have had unhealthy infatuations back in teenage, but not true liking or love or similar (to the point where that person's loss would break me in some important way).
I'd go further. I probably won't break so easily even if I had to go personally kill everyone I have ever cared about, even loved. The types of things that would break me are probably completely different than this.
At this point this isn't even some big secret. I can even tell people I know about this, in full honesty. I have a very detached sort of caring about people. I don't know how to explain it very well.
Like, my choice to care is also quite driven by rational brain (not emotional brain), and my choice to not care is also quite driven by rational brain.
This actually has absolutely nothing to do about ASI risk. I am just quite detached in general by default.
In some contexts in past, I have deliberately put effort to empathise with people, and I loved doing this. But this is not the default for me.
