For reasons described above, I no longer believe in attaching hard deadlines to items on my wishlist. So I free myself from the commitment that I have to do this in 2026.
My wishlist still includes San Francisco, Taipei City and Bangkok (for shooting). To a smaller extent, maybe London and Berlin but these seem less important tbh. To a smaller extent, maybe Hangzhou or Chongqing or similar, but that seems like more of a plan for when you're more vella and not worried about ASI risk.
The wishlist still exists, I just refuse to put hard deadlines on any of it.

I pre-commit to visiting a shooting range in Bangkok in 2026.
There do exist some worst case worlds where I would prefer knowing how to shoot, versus not. (I will not elaborate here. But you can use your imagination, if you are reading this.)
Visiting bangkok is easy for me because visa, plus lax gun regulations. (Shooting ranges in India require a gun license if you wanna shoot there, atleast if you go the legal route.)
I am not motivated at all to plan yet another trip right now. So I will postpone this plan by some months. But also, I have to execute on this plan, the default is to do nothing. So I am using this pre-commit to force myself.
