Cheap 85 inch TVs could increase popularity of remote work
Disclaimer
Main
- I still expect in-person to be best for most tech companies, but I think cheap 85 inch TVs will make remote work more popular.
- You want a screen big enough and high res enough that it can show an entire room, not just the upper half of someone's body. That is when you can do things like have dinner with someone or play music or similar, remotely. Non-work bonding activites tend to be important even for people you work with.
