Looking back at my notes from some months, I seemed to have had a "two-hour fog" hypothesis re: ASI risk. I think I generally don't have as much fog nowadays. But in any case, dual 2-back seems like a pure concentrated version of the thing that can fill up your working memory, where if you spend even half a second thinking about something else, you will lose points.
I also seemed to have notes around persuasion via youtube and all youtubers recommend you use 5th grader or even 3rd grader level english. I hypothesised that N-back tests may be useful for persuasion, to actually track what is in the viewer's working memory as they keep watching the video.
I actually got around to trying it, and damn, it is interesting.
I managed to get 100% twice in the first 10 attempts. I seem to either get 100 / near-100, or get a terrible score. Basically the slightest distraction throws me off completely, and I get a really bad score.
