Update
- This post prompted me to add jiu jitsu to my hobby wishlist.
- I still don't think this is the highest value skill. Modern infantry combat is still drones and guns only, not hand-to-hand combat. But if we are making exhaustive list then might as well add it.

- Holy shit, I scared the shit out of myself. Lights off at 4 am, opened laptop and started hearing voices. Turns out some youtube video autoplayed in the background
- If I was in a fistfight unto the death, I would probably push them hard with both hands so that fall to the ground, then lock their legs, then pluck their eyes out. I would not attempt a right hook because that is the default move most people do. I would pluck their eyes out because that basically ends the fight, people who are not professional fighters don't have practised moves they can do while blind. They will just give up out of terror is my guess, or they will fight on blind instinct.
- I know there are locks and holds for the arms as well, but I haven't practised any of them so I won't attempt them.
- Let me ask gpt-6 if this is a good strategy or not.
- Update - gpt-6 is a coward (i.e. it has been nerfed on this question)
- Update - I searched for more advice. My strategy is terrible. Grappling and locking legs is fine. Gouging eyes is hard to do and there are better moves available.
