Maybe Steve Jobs did not respect the retards mediocrity either

Quick Note
Main
I have often commented directly or indirectly that the people who make it to the history books are the only people I feel like hanging around with, giving my attention to, and so on. Everyone else is a sub-species who has less (but not zero) value in my utility function, I am less interested in even being reminded of their existence, I am more indifferent to whether they live or die.
This Jobs quote doesn't exactly disagree with me, although the person retweeting it makes it looks like it disagrees with me. Jobs too valued exceptionalism not mediocrity. Did he hate mediocre people to extent I do, that I am not sure, I will have to go and check, but this tweet is not a counterexample for me.
Main 2
I think what I want to understand is whether there are other people who relate to this emotion I feel. That most humans kind of suck but a few humans don't.
I don't know, maybe "suck" is too harsh a word, I have genuinely liked people in the past who I know are probably not gonna make it into the history books.
Maybe reminding myself of these people is useful. Atleast it shifts my mood from "most of humanity is retarded and deserves to be slaughtered" to "most of humanity is kinda meh, whatever"
