Ruthlessly deprioritise but never surrender, and never lie to yourself that surrender is a good thing

This is a point I have made to myself before too, but repeating it so it sticks
Actually not in a mood to sit and type the whole thing
I know what this post means
"Getting good will take a lot of time hence I deprioritise this for now, in favour of something else" is fine. "I am not capable of getting good at this (ever, in life) so I will just rely on plans that don't rely on this" is not fine.
Most importantly, do not do the psychologically bullshit where you tell yourself that surrender is a good thing actually.
Like, you could say: "Okay I feel unsafe and powerless, maybe let me accept the fact that I am powerless and move on. Maybe I'll get good at something else and feel good about that." Like, sure, some acceptance of curent situation is okay I guess. But you know what gives people feelings of power? Actual power. You know what gives people feelings of safety? Actual safety.
Or you could say, "I don't like the way I look that much and hence I will find it harder to find a partner. Maybe I should just accept this is me being more authentic or whatever." Lol lmao. Actually improving physical strength and fashion sense and so on will probably do way more for your sense of self-worth than any amount of psychological "this is fine actually" talk.
MtG Greens can go fuck themselves. (Well, if I met an MtG Green in person I'd probably steelman their case harder. This note is written 75% to me and only 25% to actual MtG Greens.)
