# Are there examples of remote drone terrorist attacks?

 - In theory, it should be possible to fly to a country, setup drones fitted with explosives as preparation, fly back to a country that is less likely to imprison you, then carry out the entire drone attack remotely.
 - In practice, I haven't seen much examples of this yet. Militaries are using drones, but non-state actors aren't using them as much yet (as of 2026-09).
