# I need very few people to like me

 - I need very few people to actually like me.
   - I should be fine with most people not liking me.
   - I need one indian VC to fund my OSINT/cyber startup, one cofounder to work with, one contact in indian intelligence to protect us, one girlfriend and so on.
   - You can have complete and utter contempt for all of humanity, and yet find these few people. Or even create them.
   - I can just create a reality distortion field for this. Don't search for people naturally, use words to convince people to become the person you want them to be.
   - I mean, it can't hurt to also do some search, make contact with reality, don't endlessly theorise in your room. But also, you can just bend the contents of other people's minds to your will.
   - Mass persuasion is extremely hard, but you don't need to aim for the masses. You need to get very people to actually like you, just ensure the set is non-zero.
 - Vice versa, I need to like very few people.
   - I like the people on the cypherpunks mailing list because they were both curious and violent, and had high self-esteem.
   - They did not tradeoff curiosity for violence, or vice versa.
   - I am more pro-transparency, they are more pro-privacy, but apart from that I actually like these people. Running their mind sims in my head makes me feel good. Reading their work makes me feel good.
