Main
 - Possible worlds:
   - 1: Elites have privacy, public has privacy.
   - 1b: Elites have privacy, public has privacy from each other, but public is surveilled by some elites.
   - 2: Elites are transparent, public has privacy
   - 2b Elites are transparent, public has privacy from each other, but public is surveilled by some elites.
   - 3: Elites have privacy, public is transparent
   - 4: Elites are transparent, public is transparent
 - In practice we live in 1b
 - Assuming the worlds were obtained via consent of everyone involved, my preference order: 4 > 2 > 3 > 1, 1b
   - In short I love transparency and dislike privacy, assuming consent is obtained.
 - However, the problem is I want to force a world transition using force instead of by obtaining consent.
   - I am basically endorsing shifting the world more from 1b to 2b, and doing it using force instead of by obtaining consent.
   - In theory, I could shift the world from 3b to 4 directly, using force instead of by obtaining consent. 4 is indeed better than 3b. The problem with doing this is lack of consent, and not uncertainty over whether 4 is better than 3b or not.

Update
 - **I disagree with this whole writeup.** I strongly dislike the whole "class war" mindset that says elites don't deserve privacy but public does. I love elites. Fuck the public.
 - **My stance is that elites building ASI don't deserve to have their consent respected. This is a different stance from saying that all elites don't deserve to have their consent respected.**
 - I am aware that people will use my type of reasoning to go after many other elites for all sorts of dumb political reasons.
   - Some left-leaning Loser will go after billionaires who are too right-leaning simply because they are too right-leaning.
   - Another right-leaning Loser will go after billionaires who are too left-leaning simply because they are too left-leaning.
   - Fuck all these people. No, seriously, fuck all these people.
 - I think this is definitely a big bottleneck for me, morally.
   - Most of the people I meet who endorse political violence are losers of the highest order. They are not being violent for a worthwhile cause.
   - If I am violent for a worthwhile cause, I will also inspire a lot of people to be violent for causes I don't think are worthwhile.
   - **To do - think more here**
 - The reason I am not attacking the public is because they are powerless and attacking them won't help with anything, and **not** because I respect the public. I shit on the public.
 - Most of the public only wants privacy to play petty reputation games with their friends and family, and doesn't care about anything bigger. Fuck all these people.
 - I need to learn to think more like a politician or billionaire, and less like a member of my class. I don't respect all politicians and billionaires, but I atleast respect some of them.
