# My interests

I've listed even stuff I have only a little bit of interest in, or lost interest in. Also the order is random.

Academic
 - Theoretical CS (Turing machines and automata etc). Check out my post on the same.
 - Algorithms, data structures, competitive coding
 - Artificial intelligence, any studies of learning and intelligence
 - Economics related stuff
 - Formal logic - check [this](http://us.metamath.org/mpeuni/mmset.html) out
 - Any interesting maths/logic problems ... check out Problem Solving Strategies by Arthur Engel if you're interested. A friend recommended it to me and it's brilliant. Also check out [Martin Gardner's books](http://martin-gardner.org/PuzzleBooks.html) or maybe just find some of his stuff online. Last and most important, check out puzzling stackexchange. Some of the posts are amazing. [Binary poison](https://puzzling.stackexchange.com/q/12770/4269), [circular prison](https://puzzling.stackexchange.com/q/16168/4269), [names in boxes](https://puzzling.stackexchange.com/q/16/4269)
 - Psychology stuff. Check out the MBTI personality instrument and let me know what type you are. I'm an INTJ. According to the big five, I'm just a ''rational". Plus the site didn't give me access to my full results without paying so ... :(

Non-academic
 - Game design - Want to learn but don't want to learn by myself online
 - Chess - I suck at it but have some interest. Used to play a looooot in school. And now I play some online. If you know to play, maybe you could teach me.
 - Mixing/composing of music - Might learn this later in life if I feel like it
 - Playing drums - Learnt for many years. Got a grade 6 degree. Not interested anymore
 - Watching movies and serials
 - Reading books
 - Writing - check out these posts - [Inception fanfic](https://stuff-i-might-want-you-to-know.blogspot.com/2018/11/my-attempts-at-writing-inception.html), [random scifi stuff](https://stuff-i-might-want-you-to-know.blogspot.com/2018/11/another-attempt-at-writing-my-jottings.html)
 - Browsing - stackexchange, reddit, and a ton of other sites. Reddit is a pretty amazing site, you should check it out. Here's my post on stuff I browse
 - Philosophy and opinions on stuff
 - Drawing mazes and games on paper - I spent a good part of my childhood in school doing exactly this. Although I've lost most of my rough copies I remember a fair bit. I made all sorts of stuff (arrow maze, torch maze, cannon maze, platformer games), it might be easier to explain all this in person.
 - Swimming - learnt a bit, lost interest
