# Optimal medication for simple stuff

 - It is weird I have reached 25 years of age and still haven't figured out optimal medications for myself.
 - Commonly used by people
   - Cough, chest congestion - Dextromethorphan, Diphenhydramine, Ambroxol, Guaifenesin
   - Allergic rhinitis - Cetirizine, Levocetirizine, Fexofenadine
 - What I typically use
   - Probably Diphenhydramine ("Benadryl cough formula" in India, benadryl has multiple variants) and Fexofenadine ("Allegra" in India)
 - But most importantly, I have not actually A-B tested these against the alternatives. I guess I fall sick infrequently enough that I didn't bother to actually make notes.
