I think atleast some of Chris Lakin's life advice is valuable.
I also think Chris Lakin has made a terrible decision to accept a significant fraction of his clientele and funding from the mass murderers working at the AI companies. This also makes me lose faith in his judgement on other topics atleast a little.
My guess (without much evidence) is he believes in mistake theory and persuasion all the way down ("we can just persuade AI company CEOs to not build ASI") whereas I believe in direct conflict.
I think I will avoid making a lot of detailed comments in public right now. Why?
