target audience - people applying to jobs, but maybe also my future self
Main
My preferred method of finding jobs - Find a small team (not a big corporate), reverse engineer what problems they are actually trying to solve, build some proof that you have already solved similar problems and can hence solve theirs, estimate how much solution would affect their bottom line, ad then just go cold email or cold DM them on twitter with this proof.
Likewise, actually competent small teams will often appreciate this style of hiring. Ideally they would have already listed some bounties or trial tasks on their website, with a condition that if you complete the task they will consider hiring you.
Ofcourse, this method of getting a job only works if you are actually quite skilled and have the proof ready. If you're mediocre, you might be stuck with spamming CVs at people.
