Date Me (Simplified)

I wrote this note to share my thoughts on long-term bonds. If you're keen on me, please message me even if you don't match all points. I like fresh ideas, so I'd still be glad you tried.

Relationship Style

I want a life partner. I'm straight.
I might marry. Age is not a big deal.
Not sure about kids; I might change later.
I’d try an open bond (polyamory) in the US. Not sure about it in India. I want to see more happy cases of both one-partner bonds (monogamy) and open bonds.

Place

If I get funds, I'll move to San Francisco.
If not, any big city in India is fine.
I could live outside India or in a smaller city if I like the people and vibe. But I may not take a job, so visa rules might matter.

Time

I may only give 1-2 days a week. I work a lot and need alone time.
This might change later.

Money

I'd like to keep our money matters apart.
If you earn under 10k INR/month, I might not suit you.
Big money gaps are okay, but need extra effort.

Values

I value truth and open feelings in close bonds.
I'm atheist and can talk about it a lot. I'd prefer if you're also atheist.
I'm a bit kind and driven. I'd want you to be cool with that.
I make my own choices and hope you do the same. I'd rather not have others (like your family) run our lives.

Core Alignments

Bonds are built with work, not just found. If we match in a few core ways, I'm open to many differences.
I don't know how crucial shared beliefs are. I want space to change my beliefs or lifestyle over time (like new faith).
Day-to-day choices can matter a lot. If we clash each day, I'd need more space or other friends.

Personality

I'm an introvert, a nerd, and love new ideas.
I'm high on trying new things, not so keen on low-risk living.
I speak plainly. I give and take blunt feedback. If you’re very sensitive, this might be hard.
I put in real effort for people. I have past stories of this.
I'm not very happy or stable right now, so I'd need some help. This might change in time.

Intimacy

I care about your comfort, not just “consent.” I want both of us to feel good.
My past partners were mostly happy with me here.

Social Circle

My friend group is growing. They may not all fit with each other or you. That's okay.
I won't change myself a lot to impress your circle, though I can try a bit if you ask.

Hobbies

Travel, board games (chess, Catan), music (rap, rock, nightcore), and nonfiction books.
I move places often, so I like hobbies that travel well, often on a laptop.
I'm open to trying your hobbies too.
