Samuel Shadrach newsletter issued 2026-09-30

Hi everyone

If you are new to this newsletter, I strongly recommend starting from the following posts

Video: I am looking for a cofounder to leak information about the US govt and US AI companies, obtained via cyberattacks, OSINT or other methods - I will pay you $1000 if you refer me to such a person
Discussion forums for risks from artificial superintelligence
List of signed petitions on risks from artificial superintelligence
Reading list on persuasion for anti-ASI movement
How to support the movement against risks from superintelligence
You can also browse through my website and figure out what appeals most to you

Main work I did over the last month

I am studying smart contract security
Script: I publish daily archives of my website to ethereum blobdata - The most censorship-resistant yet affordable storage on Earth
App: Morse practice - Built an app to efficiently practice sending/receiving Morse code. AFAIK this skill is of no use for fixing ASI risk

Some additional posts in the last month

Important
- On ASI risk community
  - My views on Indian community associated with EA/LW
- On leaking information about those building ASI
  - List of DeFi white hat bug bounty providers - Make money as a hacker
  - My views on AI whistleblower initiative (AIWI) - Positive views, I am not a lawyer so I can't vet a lot of their advice
  - Link to Aella's NSFW tweet for AI company whistleblowers
- On violent solutions to ASI risk
  - My letter to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi - I request PM Narendra Modi to declare war against the govts of US and Taiwan. I will pay you $500 if you can indirectly pass on this message to him.
  - Bombing TSMC will only purchase a few years of time - It will not end the race to build ASI all by itself
  - Drone swarms can be assembled inside the site of the attack - How to make drone swarm attacks even more effective
  - Are there examples of remote drone terrorist attacks?
  - Can drone swarms be used to intercept and detonate nuclear material or bioweapons during transport - Steel / concrete walls are the only affordable defence against surprise drone swarm attacks
- On persuasing people about ASI risk
  - Why is Yudkowsky so persuasive? - target suffering, exploit groupthink, target social dark matter, speak the truth
  - Memory tests might be useful for persuasion - Krashen's input hypothesis applies not just to language
Maybe less important
- Someone should make PGP hardware wallets similar to crypto hardware wallets - "Clear signing" is important, and current PGP hardware keys don't provide it
- Can ZK proofs enable multi-block flash loans?
- Cheap 85 inch TVs could increase popularity of remote work
- My views on twitter - My twitter account got suspended
- Maybe a group of militias should be used not one single military and federal police - Maybe the anti-Federalists were right and standing armies are bad actually
